Hillary's 'Testicular Fortitude' Touted During Clinton Rally

Hillary Clinton took some heat yesterday from gay rights groups when her top surrogate in North Carolina said she made Rocky Balboa look like a "pansy." Well, she's likely to hear from feminists after a labor leader, introducing her at a rally today, said the nation needed a leader "that has testicular fortitude":

While defending Bill Clinton's role in the passage of NAFTA, Paul Gipson, president of a steelworkers local, said that union members need to look forward, and support a leader who can work to amend and improve provisions in the trade agreement.

"I truly believe that that's going to take an individual that has testicular fortitude," he said. "That's exactly right. That's what we gotta have."

Clinton, standing behind Gipson, smiled sheepishly before breaking into a nervous laugh. Gipson continued by slamming unnamed "Gucci-wearing, latte-drinking, self-centered, egotistical people that have damaged our lifestyle," before endorsing and introducing Clinton.

We wonder whether the "Gucci-wearing, latte-drinking, self-centered, egotistical people" will be up in arms as well.

So are women going to expect that Hillary (a feminist) to set her supporter straight about not needing testicular fortitude to be a President? If Hillary is running as the "woman" candidate then why is she trying so hard to be more of a man than the other candidates? Why would Obama be expected to be responsible for everything anyone else says, and Hillary gets away with laughing at pansy remarks, and testicular fortitude remarks?

Does this imply that Clinton doesn't wear Gucci or drink lattes? Um, "egotistical" and "self centered" kinda goes with the territory she now inhabits (Presidential candidate land).

WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS. In full disclosure, I am an Obama supporter, but for god sake, who cares what a labor union leader said while introducing Hillary. Did she say it? No. Nothing to see here folks. Move along. There is a war to bing our troops home from (not to mention providing them an education, and actually making sure they get the medical help they need and deserve), an economy to take back from the borrow and spend crowd (you know who you are Repukes), and a constitution to tape back together. Can we please win the GD election this year before we get stuck with 8 more years of McSame.

Yah botboy, but I don't want to be stuck with Clinton for the next eight years either! I certainly wouldn't vote for her! I find Mccain at least more honest than she is! so if I have to choose between mccain and her, I'd have to go Mccain and god I think that's horrible too! Man this world gets Bleeker every day! Just once I'd like to have a President who is inspireing, intelligent,good morals,l and a good family man or woman! But it don't look like it will be this year, unless SHillary stops trashing Obama in time for the nomonee and election to work for the Demacrates!
