A second former nanny of Rob Lowe filed a countersuit Wednesday in a Los Angeles court, accusing the actor's wife of sexual harassment, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.

Laura Boyce, who worked for the couple for seven months in 2007, claims Sheryl Lowe created an "extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment ... behaving in a ... perverted, disgusting and crude manner."

Boyce also alleges that Sheryl used the "n" word in reference to Boyce's boyfriend, who was an NBA player.

Sheryl also allegedly "walked around naked, completely exposing herself" to Boyce, asked about her boyfriend's private parts and talked about Sheryl's sex life with Rob.

Boyce also claims wrongful termination against both Rob and Sheryl, in addition to unpaid wages and other labor code violations.

I worked as a nanny when I was in college and I have to say that its not at all unusual to see your boss in his or her underwear. May sound crazy but its true. However seeing your boss naked might make one feel a little uncomfortable and employers should be aware of that. It's an odd relationship to begin with. On the one hand you feel like you're a part of the family and on the other hand you know you're still a paid employee. Over time families may feel comfortable enough with their nannies to just be themselves and maybe this is what happened. With this kind of job you definitely see the best and worst of people.

As for the unpaid wages. I've had some experience with this as well and it's pretty annoying when parents don't want to pay your for overtime or ask you to do a laundry list of extras without compensation. Especially when they're spending loads of money on frivolous items.

I'm not convinced walking around naked in your own home in front of someone of the same gender counts as sexual harassment.

I'm pretty darn liberal but I think these girls should have just found other jobs if they were uncomfortable. The fact that they have splattered themselves all over tv acting like abused victims because they saw a nude person or there was sexual innuendo or even if they heard a word they were offended by, strikes me as nefarious. I'm offended by the "n word" too but is it illegal for people to be offensive in their own homes??? Come on. With all of the truly horrific things being done to people in the world can't people take responsibility for choosing to work for people they think are assholes or depraved?
Alright, I'm done.

Ummm, maybe I'm missing something but, I've worked as a nanny. In that position, I saw mothers nude (who the hell cares???), I had conversations about a full range of topics (when the kids weren't around) with one mom whom I am still friends with to this day and, quite frankly I appreciated the relaxed and frank rapport and trust we had.
Granted, no one ever stuck his hand down my pants but that is an allegation that will be hard to prove.
As a mother who has hired one nanny in the past, since I intended to be in the company of this woman rather than leave my kids with her all the time (she was more of a helper), I chose someone I could be comfortable around when breastfeeding or if I needed something at an inopportune moment. I didn't want to feel like a stranger in my own house. We talked about sex as well as politics and everything else. She confided in me about her boyfriend and their troubles and sought advice etc. Lucky for me, I am neither rich nor famous so she probably wont sue me for having treated her as more of a friend than an employee.
When you bring someone into your home to work on a regular basis, they see things no one else would see and there is an assumption that a) you can trust them b) if you're offending them in some way, they will tell you.

A woman committed sexual harassment? A female? You mean, a woman harassing a man?

No, no, no way. Can't be. Impossible. Everyone knows sexual harassment is something dirty, rotten-to-the-core, mean, angry, vicious, vile men do to innocent women.

I simply cannot accept this report as true.

Are you high? It is not alleged to have been against a man but against a female nanny.

It was allegedly a woman harassing another woman (Rob Lowe's wife harassing the female nanny)...there is no allegation of a woman harassing a man. Get it?

Sorry, but my bullshit detetctor just exploded!

Funny how, after another claim is made...this one suddenly decides to file a lawsuit.

I think it's all nothing but a crock.

Well, I tried to give Rob and his wife the benefit of the doubt. And yes, it could be that these ex-employees are all seeing green and just making stuff up. Rob seems like a decent guy and you'd hope that they would not act out like this in a home where there are young children.

But just because he seems like a decent guy, does not mean there's not a little depravity under the surface. I mean this is the guy who videotaped himself having sex with a teenage girl all those years ago, remember? Just sayin'...

sure! and some opportunistic ex-employee wouldn't think of dogpiling on at all, now would they?

Geez, sure glad I wasn't ever financially able to hire a nanny to raise my kids! Either that or Rob and his wife are truly two sleaze bags.

Rob Lowe is sexy like warren Beatty. He will never be easy like Tom Cruise. Ha ha Just kidding.

You should see this wonderful movie Rob Lowe starred with Sam Neill as the Detective. I know Rob is still a baby face to us, but he is older than me, and he is goiong to have a long career of people always wanting to know where he goes, what he wears and what he has to say about things. He just is a major star. He became a star at the time when stars were not given out freely from Hollywood. He broke a new mold, and he is rare and in his own league. His life is set, and his ambitions always come true because he is good looking and handsome and smart and he has talent. He has all it takes to make it all the way.

Unless there is hard evidence that these things took place,
i don't see how it stands up.

Will the NBA player be hauled into court to testify under oath?

man, this couple sounds like fun!

both nannies made the same complaint against lowe's wife, practically word for word. were they reading from the same cue card?

Oh PUHLEEEEZ! This is just some money grubbing haggies looking for some chump change.

It must be so difficult for stars to get decent help..... whithout being put through the ringer to pay off some digger.

Le me see....this girl's boyfriend is an NBA player, and she cleans dishes for a living? I don't think so.

Watch the ex-staffers, smelling blood (and money) coming out of the wood work to jump on the litigation bandwagon. If those allegations are true, Mrs Lowe sounds horribly depraved and I find it kind of hard to believe.

what?
nudity in her own home? chatting about sex with another female, in her own home?

where is the horrible depravity ?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:38 AM on 05/01/2008

It is not appropriate to parade around nude or discuss sex with employees. It is called sexual harrassment. I don't know of any work place where this would be considered OK unless it is on a porno movie set.

it's HER house. I wonder how long ago this second nanny moved on, and what the statute of limitations is?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:01 AM on 05/02/2008

Then they should have quit immediately after they witnessed what they deemed to be inappropriate behavior, and filed a lawsuit then. These nannies claims stink of blackmail and greed.

Not surprising at all. The preemptive lawsuit gave it away--it seemed fishy that the lawsuit named three ex-employees when we were only hearing from one a week or two ago. Two rich people hire attractive young women and get pervy with them. I understand that people with sex addiction issues have a very hard time overcoming them. The Lowe's have plenty of money to get themselves help.

and why are we assuming they need help?
nothing's been proven, and it all sounds more than a little hinky, don't you think?

sounds just as likely the former employees need some help

Rob Lowe should divorce his wife and give her a hefty settlement and then move to Australia, IMO.
