Not denying that propaganda prevails but those photograph­s are in no way of the same individual­.

Sorry, I'm not really convinced the story was fake, though I concede it is entirely possible. To me, the photos don't appear to be of the same person and I've been told that the cutting of ears and noses is a not too uncommon form of domestic abuse in Afghanista­n.
I need to see more evidence before I'm won over on this argument.

Sooner or later people will figure out that Time Magazine is nothing but a propaganda rag. I wonder if this revelation will get any play. Probably not. The Empire still needs an excuse to keep the war going.

Dan Rather was drummed out of the business for far less.

The difference is that Dan Rather is a person and Time is a publicatio­n. While someone could take the fall if this really is a fake story, the whole magazine wouldn't fold. Just as the CBS Evening News just got a new anchor.
