WATCH: Haitians Explain Their Needs In Student Film Project

What's Your Reaction:

The world is used to seeing videos from Haiti emblazoned with the CNN logo or AP watermark. But the moment is rare when Haitians can tell their own stories both on camera and from behind the camera.

Oxfam International sent us the video below -- made by Haitian film students -- along with these details about its production:

On March 12th, 2010, film students from Haiti's only film school Cine Institute in Jacmel, in partnership with Oxfam and FilmAid, asked Haitians about their priorities for rebuilding their country. According to the survey, the most pressing needs are: jobs, schools and homes. Meet three of the people they asked in this 4 minute clip.

So we can afford to pay,1.15 billion dollars for releif, but we cant afford to pay for our own unemployment extension with out borrowing money. I guess its easier just to blame it all on Coburn, and say he an obstructionist, we may as well just abolish Paygo, we have no intention, of useing it.
