Kevin Pfister has at least one distinct quality over his competition: he's the only one-person team. (Oh, he's also the only Brit, so I guess that's another...) Not only has he made it to the Imagine Cup world finals for a second year in row, but has also landed himself...

The ultimate science fair is back. The Microsoft Imagine Cup has hit New York City -- the first time since it's been in the U.S. in nine years.
For the dozens and dozens of you who read my coverage last year, I'm happy to be back. For the vast majority...

WARSAW - This competition is no joke. When teams aren't competing, they're practicing and perfecting their projects. The countless espresso machines and more than 3,000 consumed energy drinks have helped keep teams functional. Things are getting intense as victory comes within reach.
Even those who aren't finalists feel the stress....

WARSAW - The Imagine Cup is just like the World Cup, only without the dulcet sound of vuvuzelas. It's full of so much technology and innovation that people may be blinded by the constant sight of trails being blazed.
Four-hundred students from 70 countries and regions have come...
