Adam Kernan-Schloss has a background in journalism, public affairs, public relations and marketing communications. He is President and CEO of KSA-Plus Communications, Inc., an Arlington, VA-based communications firm. Since starting his first company in 1985, Adam has helped raise several issues to the top of the national agenda: breaking up the AT&T phone monopoly in the 1980s; restoring American economic competitiveness in the areas of trade, technology and education in the 1980s; and improving schools in the 1990s and 2000s.

He is married and the father of three daughters and one son—three in college, one in high school. He is a graduate of Leadership Arlington and a board member and former chair of City of Peace DC, which uses the performing arts to help area teens learn to resolve conflicts peacefully.

On at least two occasions during last night's debate, John McCain disparaged Barack Obama's eloquence ("Well, you know, I admire so much Sen. Obama's eloquence" and later, "Just again, the example of the eloquence of Sen. Obama").
