Adia Colar is a publicist at New Harbinger Publications, where she promotes psychology and self-help books. She is also a freelance writer. She lives in the Bay Area. She has been in recovery from an eating disorder for a few years. She has recorded and continues to chronicle her journey from the depths of an eating disorder to recovery and life in between. Her goals for the future are to publish these collections of writings and help others on their own paths to recovery. For now, she aims to live life one day at a time, laugh genuinely, and sing to her dog, Shaka, as much as possible -- despite the fact that he rarely pays attention.
