9/12 Health Care Protest In Chicago (PICTURES)

As the poet said, you have to fight crazy with crazy.

That's why I created DEATH-PAC (Dying and Enfeebled Against Total Healthcare PAC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of for-profit organizations.

Today we attended the anti-healthcare rally in Chicago's Millenium Park. Here are some of the photos we took.

Healthcare protest #3 (9-12-09)

Gandalf and the Joker versus Billionaires and DEATH-PAC. It's like ... a double metaprotest. Except I think they were serious with the Gandalf and Joker thing.

Healthcare protest #13 (9-12-09)

Oh look, it's the Billionaires for Wealthcare! Our sister group is out in strength.

Healthcare protest #8 (9-12-09)

Ah, death panels. Signs like this are the "Don't Stop Believing" of political slogans. Poorly written, fantasy-based, and yet somehow still a huge hit in the Midwest.

Healthcare protest #1 (9-12-09)

This is the sort of photo they counsel you against when you're a teabagger-in-training.

I can't believe this went down in Chi-Town. I always though Chicago was NORTH of the Donna Dixon Line.
