Inquiring Minds

I was at my local coffee place enjoying some "me" time ("me" meaning unemployed) when I overheard the woman next to me ask her friend the following important question:

"Jeez. Whatever happened to Macy Gray?"

I would like to commend this anonymous lady for really digging deep for answers to the weighty questions that plague our complicated world. Thanks to people like her, I found myself pondering the following relevant issues this morning.

1. I wonder what Julianne Moore's nickname was in high school?
2. What should I do with this extra Post-it note?
3. Should I drink the rest of this glass of water?

Note: An extra note of gratitude goes to the fine folks at People Magazine online for answering question one for me. I applaud you for your hard-hitting journalism. For more on this fascinating story, go here.

Isn't it amazing what people are truly "concerned" about in this world? The problem is, those people in the coffee shop seem to be in the majority as far as I can tell. Too often I talk to people who have no clue what's really going on in the world.
