Alderman Howard B. Brookins was elected in April 2003 and is currently serving his second term in the 21st Ward. Alderman Brookins follows a lineage of politics in the footsteps of his father, Former Senator Howard B. Brookins Sr. Alderman Brookins has a distinguished career serving in holding past capacities of Assistant Public Defender, Assistant States Attorney and Special Assistant Attorney General. Howard Brookins is a long time resident of the City of Chicago and is committed to improving the quality of life for the area he serves.
