Alejandra, Research Director at The Health Sciences Academy and leading London weight loss expert, advises celebrity clients from her Chelsea office. She is a qualified Personal Trainer, Spinning Instructor, Supplements and Nutritional Advisor, and Weight Loss Coach, who helps women who have been struggling with their weight and food issues for years – particularly if they have tried everything.

Before joining The Health Sciences Academy, Alejandra has spoken with over 50 world-leading scientists, and condensed hundreds of studies and proven methods to help clients separate weight loss fads from facts and to enable them to work out how to reach their ideal weight quickly and permanently in the most convenient way.

Alejandra, an overseas-qualified solicitor and barrister, came to London from Argentina in 2003 and has worked for over 10 years at top investment houses HSBC and JP Morgan. She excelled in business but at the cost of her health and her weight.

Through her personal misery and weight disasters, after trying every single diet ever printed (the last one caused her to gain over a stone), Alejandra decided to educate herself. Following sleepless nights and weekends outside of her City job, she studied a myriad of scientific papers and connected with leading experts, all of which inspired her to launch Health Divas in 2010, a blog site where she educates women on practical ways to enjoy losing weight and finally feel empowered to embrace their potential. She quickly established herself as a powerful force in the weight loss market and to later lead the research team at The Health Sciences Academy.

When not working or writing, Alejandra can be found spinning and chatting with friends at the London Chelsea Harbour Club, shopping around King’s Road or, if she has time, befriending strangers and tourists visiting London.
