Alessandro Fusacchia (1978) is the President of Rete per l'Eccellenza Nazionale (RENA), an Italian network of young professionals promoting meritocracy, youth empowerment and local best practices in Italy. He is a member of the Italian team in charge of drafting the Leaders' Declaration of the next G8 Summit, and teaches European affairs at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris. He has worked as ghost-writer for senior political figures such as Romano Prodi and Emma Bonino and is the author of the novel Niente di personale (with Davide Rubini, Editions Biliki, 2008).

Fabio Oliva (1978) is the Secretary-general of Rete per l'Eccellenza Nazionale (RENA), an Italian network of young professionals promoting meritocracy, youth empowerment and local best practices in Italy. He is Associate Expert and Training Officer on conflict prevention at the United Nations System Staff College in Turin and a researcher at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. In the past he has been invited as Visiting Scholar at the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University in New York. He has also been actively involved in post-conflict transitions and electoral processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Nepal, and the Philippines.
