Mark Williams Posts Offensive Image of Muhammad

What's Your Reaction:

Mark Williams has outdone himself again.

Williams is the chairman of Tea Party Express, a series of nationwide bus tours run by Our Country Deserves Better PAC. Williams, a former liberal, is making a reputation for himself out of making incendiary comments. He called President Obama a Nazi, a "half-white racist", a "half-black racist", an "Indonesian thug turned welfare fraud" and more. He has decried his opponents as "faggots" and once claimed they made a case for "forced eugenics." But in his latest blog entry, Williams may have finally gone too far.

Not only did Williams refer to Islam as a monkey-god cult, he also posted on his blog one of the most offensive representations of the prophet Muhammed imaginable.

The blog concerns plans to construct a mosque within blocks of New York's Ground Zero, or as Williams calls it, "a 13 story monument to the 9/11 Muslims who hijacked those 4 airliners." In comparison, CNN describes the building, a project of the American Society for Muslim Advancement and the Cordoba Initiative, as "a 15-story community center including a mosque, performance art center, gym, swimming pool and other public spaces," and notes that the 12 members of the Community Board of lower Manhattan voted unanimously to approve the project, which in fact did not even need that approval.

Board member Ro Sheffe told CNN, "They own the land, and their plans don't have any zoning changes. They came to us for our opinions and to let us know their plans. It was purely voluntary on their part."

Williams goes on to identify Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf as the man behind the two aforementioned organizations. Abdul Rauf, Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at St. Joseph's College's Brooklyn Campus in Brooklyn, is chairman of the Cordoba Initiative as well as founder and CEO of the American Society for Muslim Advancement. He is also a HuffPost blogger.

Directly below a quote from Abdul Rauf, there is an illustration called "Nazi Muhammed" featuring a leering, furious man wearing a turban topped by a swastika encircled by a crescent moon, with blood streaming down his face cockroaches for a beard. On his right, nothing but bloody severed heads and a flaming sword inscribed, "IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MERCIFUL." On his left, nothing but women covered in burkhas and what appears to be a young, sad-faced girl with blood from her crotch staining and dripping down her abayah.

When asked if he thought it was dangerous to post an image of Muhammad, Williams replied, "Couldn't find a good one of him as Satan, figured Hitler was close enough."

Yet another example of how the Tea Party is filled with bigoted & racist xenophobes - and Mark Williams has a leadership position within the tea party. So whenever someone claims racism and hate is not what the tea party is about, they're full of BS.

Well, duh! I've been running similar pictures of Mohammad and articles critical of the 7th Century Death Cult way longer than the SP guys - like since 1993 - and not even a single death fatwa! lol!

Hope you're not angling for congratulations or more attention than whatever you have already received. Unless you live in Manhattan as I do, your willingness to poke a stick in somebody's eye is worse than gratuitous, since whenever revenge by Islamist extremists is attempted to date, it's my city that becomes ground zero-- I'd appreciate it if you'd back off.
