Alex attends the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University studying Domestic Politics after graduating Cum Laude from The George Washington University in the spring of 2008 with a degree in Public Policy.

Born in Los Angeles, California, he now lives in Corrales, New Mexico. In high school, he co-founded a not-for-profit organization with a group of friends to serve other NPOs in the Albuquerque area. Alex started college at Macalester in St. Paul, Minnesota before retreating from the cold to Washington, DC to finish college.

During his last two and a half years at school, he worked in the Political Department at People For the American Way where he worked with the C-4 and Political Action Committee campaigns. Active in local and national politics, Alex is a veteran of working- and consulting-for campaigns at every level of government. In New Mexico, he is one of the youngest-ever appointed voting members of a statewide Democratic Party Committee - Platform and Resolutions. Alex is also a Young People For (YP4) Senior Fellow and a graduate of YP4/PFAW’s Front Line Leaders Academy - a year-long campaign training program. Recently, Alex ran an “online draft campaign” which successfully helped to push his Congressman to run for the US Senate.
