Don't you just love weird town names? Like all those places in Britain called Olde Craptown and Ur Mumms A Whora? They make chyrons like this possible. A child was abducted by her father in Massachusetts, which happens to have a town called "Sandwich" which happened to be where the baby was found. Mothers and headline writers alike celebrated.

MISSING BABY FOUND IN SANDWICH
Treated and released from Mayo Clinic (?)
What's the definition of 'Chyron'?
Somewhere, Jonathan Swift is smiling...
Maybe all they found were baby back ribs with baby arugula on Zwieback toast?
Call "Donner's Party Catering" for your next get-together in Sandwich...
You didn't have to make up crazy British place names. There's Preston Guballs which sounds like an elderly senator from the deep south, Peeover St. John (which we hear St. John is not very happy about) Hope Maltrvers, Pity Me (a place not a request) and even a spot called The Devil's Arse.
And that's just a few.

Why do people picnic at the beach?
Because of the sandwiches there.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chyron may refer to:
* Lower third, television graphics that occupy the lower area of the screen
* Chyron Corporation, develops and manufactures on-screen graphics for the broadcast industry
* Any predominantly text-based video graphic as used mainly by television news broadcasts
I did not know that!
I'm glad it wasn't a McBabyBackRib sandwich.
Please don't tell me the kid was named Richard. I'm just saying . . .
FYI, the sandwich was invented by the Earl of Sandwich, because hunger couldn't drag him away from the casino table.
Not quite. The practice of putting meat and cheese between slices of bread predates the Earl of Sandwich by millenia. What the Earl gets credit for is giving his name to that food - not inventing the food.
Sorry for nitpicking.
No, you're wrong. The Earl of Sandwich invented the sandwich in his laboratory in Edison, NJ.
That settles that. Who's for a pizza?
good and funny.
We can give thanks when they report: Turkey found on Cranberry Hwy. running through Sandwich
I couldn't resist clicking and was about to hu..rl when I read this. Lmao Very funny. :)
A California cheeseburger!
What kind of mustard was on the sandwich?
