The "Real Housewives Of New York City" Flowchart Of Hate

I'm a little embarrassed to love this show as much as I do, but I can't help myself: The "Real Housewives of New York City" is mesmerizing. Just look at how much news they generate: one of them got dumped by her royal husband, one of them beat up her boyfriend, one of them posed nude (and now blogs for us); they have even generated their own Huff liveblog team.

There's a reason the ratings are up 99% from the first season.

Now, I have to admit, I'm firmly in camp Bethenny when it comes to the crazy Ms. Bensimon and her antics. Also, I have left out past feuds that have sort of healed over like the Countess V. Ramona and Jill V. Ramona. But other than that this should be a useful flowchart for those who can't keep up with the infighting of the group.

I used to love this show. Now that's it's turned into an INFOMERCIAL primarily for Zarins, I am getting sick of it. Although I still love to watch Bethany and Kelly go at it. Kelly is really gorgeous, and a cut above , as she said so brutally. But that brutal comment made her several cuts below. The Countess is very attractive, breezy, and seems to have the truest sense of social mores. Jill, I used to like until she redid her apartment in Gay Gothic. I can't look at Ramona because her eyes seem glued wide-open, and her husband doesn't ring true to me. Simon and his wife are ultimately likable because they are odd, but sweet, they hurt no one, and I haven't seen them do the big sell, like Kelly with her ugly Owls, Bethany with her Skinny GIrl What-Have-Yous, and Ramona and her new skin care line. Class With The Countess, I think published last week. (Hate to admit, I did pre-order this from Amazon) Have they no shame? Well, the show answers that question clearly doesn't it? The woman on Housewives of New York have become an embarrassment to themselves, their children and the city. I'm now looking forward to the Housewives of New Jersey...I can't imagine what they'll want to sell us.

There is something I notice constantly between Alex and Simon. Alex has a phony laugh. No matter what the situation, where they are or what they are doing, Simon always has to kiss Alex or make sexual comments. At one of the many parties Alex was trying to have a conversation about the event and Simon totally ignored what Alex had to say and said to her "let's kiss." She did that phony laugh. Has anyone else noticed? Simon is simply sickening. He is a control freak when it comes to Alex and I believe he is intimidated by her confidence and intelligence. I think if we got to see Alex without him, we would find an interesting woman. Also, I don't see that genuine love parents have for their children and this is sad. I don't know for sure but I would bet that it was Simon who insisted on having the kids, not Alex. I get the feeling she would have waited a bit longer while their home and careers were stronger. I think they would have been better of childless a bit longer if they wanted to climb the social ladder by attending every event and opening there is. I wish they would just enjoy their kids, play ball, get silly with them and stop making every moment with them a learning experience. Give the poor kid's a break or they'll be burnt out by ten.

I love -love this show!!! But I think Kelly has got a real problem with Bethanny!! I think Bethanny has more class then Kelly-Kelly seems fake!! The drama between Ramona and Jill is very entertaining,but at least they work through it!!
Jill is my very favorite!!!

This show is intoxicating,better than the OC. SOOOOOOOO much drama! I Love Bethany! I didnt noticed anyone saying anything about Ramona. The constant talking and energy! YIKES. She seems to have calmed down a bit since last season. Alex and Simon strange but true. As far as those babies money can't buy good behavior!!!!! Jill and her husband, he's sweet lets his wife kick a-- then he calms her down. Sounds like my marriage. Kelly and LuAnn need I say more............

This show now has me addicted..

Bethany talks like a valley girl with so many cliches PLZ!... Accusing Kelly of being not on her level and trying to antagonize her and being rude and cold before the confrontation. Claims Kelly is just trying to be a social climber when that is part of her business being a journalist in the Hamptons. The pot calling the kettle black...Bethany deserved Kellys wrath with her rudeness in all the other meetings. I would be livid myself with Bethanys rudeness and patronization.

I do like Jill, Alex and Simon. Simon to me is a man who has feminine qualities that are good yet he is a heterosexual and a very nice attentive husband.

If I had Luanns title I would use it too the others are green with envy as they pretend to be put off by it. Luann is better off now without the cheating hubby. She will be ok I think because this has been going on for a while and now she'll be free to have a companion that is not away all the time.

I watched about 4 episodes back-to-back yesterday and it seems to have drawn me in... Really makes me appreciate my friends.

I do not "love" Bethenny, she is a pretty neurotic chick who needs to slow down and think before she speaks. As much trouble and controversy as her over sensitive persona gets her, she of course is not the worst of the bunch.. The dreadful Kelly character makes Bethenny look like Lady Di- all pretention wrapped in orange spray tanned skin.. But 'nough said about these two.. The real baddie is Mario, the crazy shoulder and hand motion gave him the "muscle" he needed to back up his big mouth when he took down a woman.. Big man, scary shoulder movement, pretty bad mouth on you, Mister. I wonder if you would have wandered into the space of a male with that nastiness or would you be afraid to get your face handed to you? I think you are a coward and a worm.. You and your horrible wife should disappear. Heroes of the night? Bobby, Jill's lovely husband, and Alex and Simon who told Mario and Ramona where to get off. That was lovely!

I agree Mario is the real baddie. I was shocked at how he talked to Jill, I found it difficult to even watch. What a bully. I know Bobby is a gentleman but I do wish he had stepped in sooner, took his wife's arm and quietly led her away from that screwball Mario. What happened to him this season? Did he go nuts? Jill is all class, she let it go and shook Romona's hand. It's men like Mario who are truly cowards and you are so right, let that have been a man instead of Jill and that never would have happened. Men who bully women are afraid of anyone that they think can over power them. Ok, enough about him because I could go on and on. Next, I do like Bethenny, not love just like. I only wish she wouldn't be so out there and open about her problems. Sure, people will listen and lend that shoulder to cry on but mostly it is not to help, it is to get info to use against her. Bethenny needs to slow down and stop trusting others so much and asking for advice. She does have her life put together well, I just think she needs to realize that.
