Alex Schattner is a writer/illustrator who tries to live his life like a Frank Capra hero: honest, positive, and appreciative. Why? Because he’s cheesy like that.

He was Born and raised in New York, studied creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College, and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in English Literature (’10). Now he’s back in New York and writing with total abandon.

He is the author of HUNK?, The Christmas Dept., and Celia’s Sulfur Spring and More Fairy Tales for Modern Dreamers. He currently has over 25,000 followers on Wattpad (think Twitter, but for writers).
