Originally from Staffordshire, and raised in the north of England via the Canary Islands, Alex is now begrudgingly based in East London. As well as a background in music journalism, and titles such as Rockfeedback, The Fly and Notion magazine, he’s also worked as a press manager for acts such as Frank Sinatra, Orbital, Spiritualized and The Secret Garden Party. Now in his mid-20’s and at Green House Group, he has his own record label, Turf Records, a daily music recommendation service, Track In The Box, and various press and social media clients to play with… including The Enemy and Blissfields Festival. He’d still rather live in the north.
