NATALIA LEITE and ALEXANDRA ROXO, who work under collaborative moniker PURPLE MILK, are two Brazilian-American gals who met mid-Saturn return and decided to team up as they navigated the changes caused by planetary shifts and those inherent in the film world. Together they co-write, co-direct, and co-star in their own work, much of which aims to comment on cultural themes around spirituality, sexuality, and the complexities of their generation. They are currently in post-production for their web show, Be Here Now-ish (February 2014 release), and in prep for a feature film, Bare, that will be shot in New Mexico. This past year they have teamed up with VICE Media on a number of projects, including original series Every Woman and Serrano Shoots Cuba, a documentary following the work of Andres Serrano. www.drinkpurplemilk.com
