Becoming a vegetarian -- or even someone who just wants to eat less meat -- can often mean giving up beloved items. But Karen Page, the author of The Vegetarian Flavor Bible, thinks that the trade-offs don't have to be so extreme. She believes that for almost all flavors there can be substitutes that are often indistinguishable from the originals. She even has swap-outs for vegan items as well.
