Alisa Wolfson
GET UPDATES FROM Alisa Wolfson
Alisa Wolfson was born and raised in Los Angeles (yes, born-and-bred Angelenos do exist). After graduating from college, she moved to New York City only to find the man she would marry, as well as a job as a Features Writer at the New York Post. After four winters and an array of puffy black coats, the laid-back LA lifestyle and lack of layered clothing started calling her name (as did her mother). Back in LA, Alisa worked as a Staff Reporter at Us Weekly and has contributed to Angeleno Magazine and C California Style. Alisa lives with her husband Matt and their dog Gus in LA's Brentwood neighborhood.

Most of us have a closet -- or some sort of small space dedicated to cordoning off and protecting our precious pieces of clothing. Some of us are lucky enough to have a space large enough to walk inside that houses our garments, but, very few of us...

When velvet and lace are the only two fabrics in your closet you're bound to look like a Christmas stocking, or, as my mother-in-law describes her wardrobe as full of "gypsy clothes." For as long as she can remember, and for as long as photos of...

There's something to be said for the way guys can just throw something on and look effortlessly cool. The same sentiment goes for my friend Katie who often dresses like a man.

Katie is a very pretty girl with shoulder-length brown hair and a slim build. There's...

This Girl Only Wears Floral Dresses, And No, She's Not A Preschooler (PHOTOS)

My friend Christy wears a floral dress every day. Every single day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... you get my drift. If she's relaxing around the house, she's wearing a flower dress. Headed to the supermarket, she dons a floral dress. Heck, she even came to...

On a scale of one to ten, I'd rank my husband's style at about a seven. His closet is a little reserved, a bit preppy, somewhat trendy and very comfortable in terms of how he feels (but not in a sweatpant kind of way). A bold move for...

My mom had the coolest wardrobe in the '60s and '70s. Every photo I've seen of her back in the day looks like it came out of a magazine. Some of the stuff she sewed herself after taking a home economics course, but most of her...
