ALLISON STEVENS is an award-winning reporter who has covered politics for nearly a decade. She is currently Washington Bureau Chief of Women's eNews (www.womensenews.org), where she covers women and politics. She previously served as political editor of The Hill, a newspaper that covers Congress, and covered the U.S. Senate for Congressional Quarterly, where she won the Sandy Hume Memorial Award for Political Reporting. She has appeared on Fox News, C-Span, Pacifica Radio and other television and radio news outlets, and has written for Ms., the American Prospect and other publications. Allison earned her masters degree in journalism from Northwestern University and her bachelors degree in English literature from the University of Michigan.
