I refuse to speculate or make a solid prediction for tomorrow's game vs New England. I repeat, I REFUSE. Call me names -- wimp, negligent blogger, superstitious freak, paranoid psycho-I'll happily accept all of them.

It's only Week 3 but with a 2-0 start to the season holding WAY more meaning than it probably should, I'm not willing to jinx anything by throwing out scenarios I think will happen or could happen.

What I will do is point out some... facts.

-There are only four teams in the AFC who are off to a 2-0 start. Three of those teams are in the AFC East. There are only seven 2-0 starts in the entire league. The Bills are one of those seven teams and tied for first place in their division. Seems like with this being the first week of inter-division face offs, each team would have a lot to prove and a lot on the line. Do with that information what you will, my opinions are staying in this chick's mouth.

-The Bills won their home opener last week and are again hosting the Patriots at the Ralph. The Ralph can be deafening when the Bills are losing, nevermind when they're winning. I also know the team was beyond ecstatic (and proud) to hand fans that win on home turf we've been craving. I'm just saying... if something feels good, people don't want it to stop.

-Last season, CJ Spiller was a rookie and returned a kick-off for a 95-yard touchdown in the Bills' first meeting with New England. This season, Spiller will likely field most if not all kick offs because of Roscoe Parrish's injured reserve status.

-Freddy J leads the league in rushing. As a team, the Bills are also ranked first in points scored, seventh in total yardage and 19th in passing. The Patriots are ranked 16th in rushing, third in points scored and first in total yardage and passing. I'm just throwing out some stats here, not trying to make a point or justify talent or talk about each team's strengths and weaknesses.

-Has Ochocinco even been on the field all season? I'm just asking a question, not insinuating anything.

There you go! A bunch of random information from which you should NOT be able to glean any sort of vibe from me as to how I think tomorrow's game should go... no vibe whatsoever.

GO BILLS!!!
