The flag pin "controversy" was just another one of those BS things the rightwing has to bring up since they are so bankrupt in real ideas--they still sing the same song--cut taxes, privatize as many government functions as possible, "stay the course" on things like energy policies, education, trade, blah, blah, blah...

Well, what can be expected from such a failure in office. Not to mention her long denial of Clinton's lies. She serves herself and the Democratic Party. Thankfully, the primary continues and we will have more chances to learn about both candidates. Her sort of deflection does not stand up to the facts we are learning.

Yes, the whole thing. Her answer of nothing was just a copout. She had many comments about her pin and why she wore them. She made no comment regard the flag pin worn by many government leaders. No comment from a person that likes to talk so much is just boring. I was reminded of the White House lawn photo when all the Cabinet came out to say Clinton was not lying. She was a failure in office and now she just continues a a party hack.

And global warming? And energy policy? And Afghanistan? And the billions of dollars lost in Iraq? No bid contracts that have not been fully executed properly? And our relations with South American countries? Pakistan? Russia? China? The national debt? How much of it is held by China in promissory notes or whatever the hell you call it? How about substandard conditions for our troops here and in the field of battle? Health insurance? Credit? The list of issues and problems goes on and on.

It is the most ridiculous, senseless, bunch of garbage to say that a person is somehow not patriotic because they don't wear a flag pin. Look at how far down we've come with Condelusional Rice. Madeleine Albright was a great Secty of State. She did so much more than fly into a country for a photo op and then fly back out.

The world listened when Ms. Albright spoke. The world mutes the TV when Rice opens her pie hole.

This is an interesting fact : Rice and Albright are very very very close, practically surrogate sisters. Albright's father was Rice's mentor in international Affairs. There is a story Albright tells about finding out that Rice was a republican. She said 'But Condi, that can't be true, our daddy is a democrat!"
