Amanda Marcotte writes for and manages the blog Pandagon, hosts the weekly RH Reality Check podcast, RealityCast, and writes a weekly column for RH Reality Check as well. She is the author of the recently released book It’s a Jungle Out There: The Feminist Survival Guide to Politically Incorrect Environments. She received her 15 minutes of fame after being hired in 2007 by the John Edwards campaign as the blogmaster and then resigning shortly thereafter in a frenzy of right wing controversy-generating. She holds a B.A. in English literature from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX.
