We asked HuffPost readers to join with us and profile the hundreds of superdelegates who are likely to decide the Democratic nomination for president. Hundreds of you responded and we can now present our initial findings. Just click on a state or territory and a list of superdelegate profiles, as compiled by our citizen journalists, will pop up. We're still in the process of compiling and uploading these files so please expect more in the coming hours and days.

Just a great job to everyone who participated but most especially, to Amanda!
Having participated in a few of these profiles by interviewing and editing, it was no slam dunk but what was most intiguing was the fact that many of these superdelegates are ordinary citizens with an extraordinary commitment to making their communities better - and working damn hard to do it. They were far from the 'big cat, backroom pol-types' one might imagine.
For the most part, this is the first time they have been asked to vote in such a contested election and they are taking the responsibility very seriously; the majority wanting to follow their constituents and supporting their decisions though not all. The fact is, superdelegates can vote for anyone they choose.
It was a great experience for me and I applaud Amanda, Marc Cooper and Huffingtonpost for going outside the box - yet again - and activating the body politik by this informative research project that takes a lot of time for the volunteers and the huffpo staff to organize. Just great information here and most of the superdelegates were open and willing to take a phone call from the non-traditional media.
Congrat's Amanda...and to the hundreds who volunteered! It was a pleasure to help just a little for something much bigger and sharing it with others. This is a groundbreaking piece of journalism. Cooper is going to laugh on that last line. I buried the lead. Oh well, that's why there are editors.
"The fact is, superdelegates can vote for anyone they choose."
Wow, you seem to say that with such elation, as if its a good thing.
What you're suggesting is as long as these people don't affect the sleazy, fat cat, back room attitude that in someway should placate the masses, that they're trying to do right by us, and hopefully won't overturn our mandate.
The fact of the matter is they can technically, and thats the problem. And the fact they they are triyng to do what the masses want, jumping ship for Barack in some cases doesn't make it right. The vote is inherently unfair and undemocratic.
So you can pat yourselves on the back all you want, and waste your time anointing whoever you'd like to sainthood, we're not buying it. Sorry.
The superdelegates don't require an investigation.
They require "super"tar and "super"feathering. We the people don't much like finding out there are American citizens amongst us with a more powerful vote than ours.
Why are you Off the Bus people spinning your wheels? The candidates must be asked by the cowards in the media how they in good conscience can walk around wielding superior powers in a democracy.
And not softball questions like, " What will happen if in Colorado the superdelegates are called on to decide the election for the Democratic nominee"?
More a question like " What the fuck were you thinking?" Or " Does it bother you to call yourself a Democrat when the party practices such blatantly elite bullshit?"
Please. Interviewing superdelegates is like asking serial killers their favorite brownie recipes. Its rather irrelevant. But it is nice to know their whereabouts nonetheless.
Looks like a great beginning, Amanda
