Ami Horowitz was an investment banker for 12 years before he was hit over the head with a rock and abruptly decided that film making was his calling. He has written for publications such as the Weekly Standard and National Review and appeared on ABC radio, CNN and Fox News.

In 2006 he began production on the feature film U.N. Me, which details the failure of the U.N. to live up to its founding principles. In 1993, Ami accomplished what has stood until today as unprecedented, when he won the Heisman Trophy and Academy Award in the same year. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Manhattan.
