Amina Semlali
Amina Semlali works for the World Bank's Vice President for Leadership Learning & Innovation. She specializes in organizational transformation, senior leadership development and in helping leadership articulate strategy and drive change.

As a high-energy intra/entrepreneur with a passion for human development, she has served various capacities within -and outside of- the World Bank Group.

Prior to this position Amina led the strategic communications work for the World Bank's Social Accountability Practice. She has also worked extensively on labor market as well as youth issues and provided policy advice to numerous governments in the Middle East.

In addition to her analytical and operational development work, she bloggs on matters related to her work. Her writings (such as "Fighting Poverty in the Arab World with Soap Operas?") have appeared on various news sites.

Amina holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Uppsala University, Sweden.
