Amna Akbar is Senior Research Scholar & Advocacy Fellow with the
Center for Human Rights and Global Justice, International Human Rights
Clinic, NYU School of Law. Prior to joining NYU she worked at Queens
Legal Services overseeing the Asian Battered Women's Project, and
clerked in the Southern District of New York. She is a co-producer of
