Amy Dickinson writes the syndicated advice column "Ask Amy" for the Chicago Tribune, which appears in over 150 newspapers. She is also the author of the New York Times Bestselling memoir, The Mighty Queens of Freeville: A Mother, a Daughter, and the Town That Raised Them, published by Hyperion, 2009. She is a regular panelist on NPR's popular quiz show, "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me."

Last year Amy married her childhood friend, Bruno Schickel, and the couple are parents to five daughters. She lives in her hometown of Freeville, New York and Chicago.
