Amy is an entrepreneur at heart. A marketing expert with a keen eye for design, she has worked in many capacities, always with an eye to building brands and businesses ranging from founding her own line of women’s fashion inspired activewear, MATERIAL, to managing brands at Unilever to overseeing marketing and design for Field & Stream. Amy has a marketing and communication company, JURKOWITZ & Co, which focuses on moving ideas into businesses. Jurkowitz & Co also develops and grows its own IP’s and Milkshake is one of them.

Milkshake, a free daily email with a focus on all that’s good was founded in 2011. Milkshake covers companies, causes, people and products that are giving back and making a difference in the world.

Amy graduated with a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg School of Management. In her spare time she runs around with her five kids ages 12 to 16; sits on the board of trustees of Greenwich Country Day School; advises Ashoka, a foundation with a focus on social entrepreneurship; judges undergraduate entrepreneurship contests; and runs road races whenever she can.
