Andrea Friedman is an international human rights lawyer with expertise in women's rights and security in conflict and post-conflict countries. She is currently the Vice President of the Global Justice Center, a New York based international human rights legal organization. Previously she was the Program Manager at the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. She received her BA summa cum laude in political science from Tufts University and her JD from Harvard Law School. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her dog, Poncho.
