Andrew Rabenstein is currently a senior at the University of Michigan, where he is pre-med and working towards a Bachelor of Science in political science with a minor in biology. While with Students for Barack Obama and College Democrats at the University of Michigan, Andrew served as part of the fundraising team and as the Director of Greek Life Outreach during the 2008 election. With College Democrats of America, from August 2009 through November 2009 Andrew served as the Development Director of the LGBT Caucus and as a member of the finance team. Since December 2010 Andrew has served as the chair of the LGBT Caucus for College Democrats of America, where he has worked to advance a variety of LGBT issues, ranging from same-sex marriage to repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Andrew is also a certified EMT in New York State. Upon graduation in May 2010 Andrew will be working for U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-New York).
