John Edwards Deluged With Father's Day Cards

Former presidential candidate John Edwards gave thanks for the many Father's Day cards he received today, saying that the cards numbered "in the thousands."

"For years, I have said there are two Americas," he said. "Apparently, I have children in both of them."

Mr. Edwards said that the cards were sent from all over the world and were from senders he had never heard of before.

"It's exhausting just working my way through them," he said.

Mr. Edwards said he was "undecided" as to what to do about the many children who sent him cards today, but indicated that he was in talks with Madonna.
