Many Americans do not understand why the TV series "Mad Men" is considered so amazing but nonetheless are pretending that they do.
That's the conclusion of a new survey conducted by the University of Minnesota's Opinion Research Institute, which for the past two years has been studying the attitudes of Americans who actively pretend to like Mad Men.
According to the poll, over 50% of those surveyed "strongly agree" with the statement, "I have no idea what all of the excitement about 'Mad Men' is all about, but I'm terrified that if I admit it I'll look like an idiot, like I did with '30 Rock.'"
Elsewhere, "Readers Digest" said it they would declare bankruptcy, calling it "bkrpcy." More here.
