Rangel Deletes "Hard Out Here For a Pimp" Ringtone

What's Your Reaction:

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) - Just hours after stepping down as Chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) took the additional step of deleting the song "Hard Out Here For a Pimp" as his ringtone.

Mr. Rangel removed the ringtone after his phone went off during today's press conference, somewhat undercutting his professions of propriety.

Aides to the congressman said he would take additional steps in the next several days to rehabilitate his image, including changing his "MACDADY#1" vanity license plate.

In other congressional news, Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) objected to President Obama's request for an up-or-down vote on healthcare reform, arguing, "There is nothing more undemocratic than a vote." More here.
