WikiLeaks Reveals Details of Mubarak's Severance Package

Posted: Updated:

CAIRO (The Borowitz Report) - In what may prove to be the journalistic coup of the year, WikiLeaks today revealed details of the severance package of soon-to-be-deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

According to the documents made available by WikiLeaks, upon leaving office Mr. Mubarak will receive $40 billion but will not be allowed to serve as dictator of another country for six months.

Additionally, once he departs Egypt Mr. Mubarak will be transferred immediately to the Pyramid on the Vegas strip.

The documents depict a Mubarak who has felt increasingly betrayed in recent days, at one point snapping, "Malcolm Gladwell said this could never happen."

As for his future plans, the documents reveal, Mr. Mubarak is open to doing anything "except the Piers Morgan show." More here.
