-Pumpkin will be this years black
-Heels and skirts will be up
-Angelina will adopt another child

Sports

-Shaquille O'Neal will retire this year
-Barry Bonds will beat Aaron's home run record but not playing with the SF Giants
-Tom Coughlin of the NY Giants will be replaced by Charlie Weis of Notre Dame


Issues

-Health care will rise to the most important domestic issue and we will have another "1994 moment" of opportunity-based on America's economic competitive needs
-Trans fat and smoking bans will be passed across the nation
-Polar bears will motivate the US to act on global warming

Politics

-No more electronic voting machines without receipts and audit trails
-Giuliani will fall flat on the campaign trail in Iowa and New Hampshire
-Speaker Pelosi will surprise her critics with her focus and skills
-Kathleen Sebelius-Governor of Kansas-will become a Democratic star as head of the DGA

Work

-Corporate responsibility codes will focus more sharply on wages and worker rights
-Hedge Funds will be held accountable for the companies they own and what they are doing to the economic security of the workers in the firms they own
-Wal-Mart will reconsider their health care practices
-The gap between the rich and the rest of the population will get far more attention and unions will begin to be seen as "part of the solution"
