Vandaveer just released a new album on Supply and Demand music called Divide & Conquer, and luckily for us that means shows in Denver/Boulder and an acid trip of a video involving a sad (possibly drugged/dying?) clown. Shot somewhere in Paris, as Vandaveer is apt to do (did you see his Take-Away Show? C'est tres chouette!), "A Mighty Leviathan of Old" has the feeling of a long sad march through the deflated wreckage of a circus -- a fantastic metaphor for a ruined relationship.
You can catch Vandaveer opening for The Devil Makes Three at The Walnut Room on Friday, the 20th, and playing at George's in Boulder on the 21st.
