Anna Caltabiano, a San Francisco area resident, has recently published her first book titled “All That Is Red.” At just 16 years old, Anna tackles the difficult subjects of self-harm and cutting by exploring the depth of human emotion. She creates a fantasy world where the main character is caught in a cross-fire between a world of feeling all emotions and feeling nothing at all while struggling with her own desperate ambivalence. Born to an Italian-American father and a Japanese mother in British colonial Hong Kong, Anna moved with her parents to Palo Alto, California and began her writing career at the age of 13. She is currently working on two brand new books as well as balancing her writing by engaging in her favorite hobbies such as playing the guitar and tennis.
