Naturopathic Practitioner and Certified Nutritionist, Anne Dunev, PhD, C.N., is in private practice at Lisa Benest MD Dermatology in Burbank, CA. She taught at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, and has been a featured speaker at Wellness Festivals in the U.S. and U.K.

She wrote a column on Health and Wellness for the Wood River Journal in Sun Valley, Idaho.

As a seminar leader and radio show guest, she has spread the word about the threat to human health because of our toxic environment and dependence on pharmaceuticals. Unless we return to the wisdom of natural medicine and “real food” diets, human health will continue to deteriorate. Hippocrates said, “Let your food be your medicine, and let your medicine be your food.” The finest cuisines in the world have featured fresh, whole foods and that is what our bodies deserve, not the processed, devitalized, chemical substitutes that make up much of the standard American diet.

The parents of Edendale were very busy people....

I think there can be little disagreement that America, as a whole, has gotten lost in recent years. Otherwise, why do we find ourselves enmeshed in a foreign war that drains our treasury to no discernible end, and facing the worst economic turndown recalled by most of us?

Not only...

I like stretching the boundaries, going beyond the safe, the mundane, and mediocre. I don't believe we were meant to live quiet, secure, small lives. Of course, this has gotten me into a lot of trouble. In many ways things are rigged so that we don't dare much--we...
