When a major artist needs a hit song, Annie Roboff's phone is likely to ring. Ms. Roboff's songs cover the musical landscape and have been recorded by artists as diverse as Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, Bonnie Raitt, The Indigo Girls, Tim McGraw , The Dixie Chicks, INXS, Kenny Loggins, and a duet featuring legends Don Henley and Kenny Rodgers. With five #1 hits, Ms. Roboff is one of the most important songwriters working today. Recordings of her songs have sold over sixty million copies. Roboff’s compositions have become signature songs for a number of major artists. This Kiss, a number one single for Faith Hill, holds the distinction of entering BMI’s 100 most performed songs in broadcast history faster than any other. This Kiss was nominated for a Grammy as Country Song of the Year Grammy nomination and was honored as the 1999 CMA Song of the Year, and the ASCAP Country Song of the year. Her song "Deeper Still", co written with Ashley Cleveland, appears on this years' Grammy nominated album, "Before The Daylight's Shot"(Ashley Cleveland).

Ms. Roboff’s songs have been covered and re-released on countless Greatest Hits and compilation albums, and have found their way into feature film, television, and advertising campaigns. Among the films and television shows that feature her songs are We Were Soldiers, For the Love of the Game, Where the Heart Is, America’s Sweethearts, Message in a Bottle, Black Dog, Vertical Limit and Practical Magic. Ms. Roboff has written musicals for off-Broadway including the well-received Sally & Tom. Television credits to her name include “Brand New Day”, which is the theme song for Alecia Elliott’s weekly television series on NBC, as well as the theme song “Put The Truth Back Into Your Life” for Lifetime Television’s ‘Final Justice’, sung and co-written with Wynonna Judd. Other songs have appeared on Dawson’s Creek, Boston Public and Judging Amy and American Idol.

Annie Roboff was born in Greenburgh, New York and started her music career in a popular New York City acappella group called the Bondinis. During this three-year association, the band-enjoyed appearances in the movie and television show FAME. After the Bondinis Roboff began a career writing/arranging television themes for various sports, news and TV movies. Her credits include college football themes for ABC, CBS and TBS broadcasts, ESPN Sports Center Theme, '84 Olympics, NBA Basketball for TBS, Presidential Election Coverage, Sportsbeat and ABC's broadcast of Prince Charles & Lady Diana's Wedding.

Before moving to L.A. in the late 1980's, Annie had the privilege of working with Laura Nyro in New York City for a short time. Once in L.A., Roboff returned to the world of pop music. There she had songs recorded by R&B and pop acts such as Olivia Newton John, 4 Real, and Phil Perry among others.
