The Best Water. Ever.

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

I thought I had water figured out.

Municipal tap and all its goodies like chlorine, fluoride, pharmaceuticals, and toilet paper residue were long gone from my reality. When I would see friends and family drinking it I would cringe inside. We are giving ourselves a light dose of antibiotics when we drink chlorinated water. Google fluoride for more information on that water additive.

I was a bottled water drinker. I hated the idea of all the plastic, but I tried as much as possible to buy gallon bottles and to reuse them for watering my plants or other duties. I figured they were quickly recycled anyway.

Then I started to learn about xenoestrogens (estrogens found outside of nature, such as in PLASTIC), and how they were totally screwing with our endocrine systems. Feminizing men and giving cancer to women...wha?

Just because plastic is EVERYWHERE, doesn't mean that its ok to use. We are not only what we eat, but also what we drink. Drink more plastic...could it be? So what to do about all of this?

I came across Daniel Vitalis through the website We Like it Raw. He has been experimenting with optimal nutrition for 15 years, going through vegan to raw-vegan to wild foods, and now even grass fed animal products. He is about thriving, and his approach to nutrition has inspired me immensely.

His most influential work so far in my opinion were the breakthroughs with water and the sharing of that information, which has empowered and elevated many people lucky enough to come across the info.

His approach to water? Drink water directly from the source, the natural mountain spring, and store it in glass until consumed. No plastic if possible, no pressured pipes and shipping. Water that has been incubating under the ground for perhaps thousands of years.

He has been doing this for over three years, and myself, 6 weeks. But the thought of buying plastic bottled water again really seems unlikely. I will now rent a car, bring 4 bottles that each hold 5-6 gallons, and will supply our apt with drinking and tea water for a month. We spend a day in nature, go for a hike, and harvest the best water possible.

Everyone I have shared the water with KNOWS what I am talking about. Its far more difficult to get friends and family into eating healthy, but getting them excited about highly-structured spring water directly from the source is definitely a different story. They GET IT. The idea of pre-industrial revolution era water MAKES SENSE.

Here is me harvesting some water in northern New Jersey of all places. 70 minutes outside of NYC.
I realize that I am using plastic, but it is for a very short period and I get it into glass as soon as possible!

Here is Daniel talking about water and health, very powerful ideas here.

Think about it. I would prefer to RENT A CAR and drive for 2 hours roundtrip to get water. There is obviously something special about this stuff.

Its empowering and really life-changing. I would highly recommend check out Daniel's spring database site HERE and His Elixercraft Mastery page HERE.

Despite the driving (and we could all carpool), this is the greenest way to get your water. Watch the videos for more info and inspiration!

Fluoridated water is not bad for you. It helps prevent dental decay. Below is a link to a 2008 study reviewing the evidence. (Note: this kind of paper is what actual science looks like. It's a little different than some guy with a website's product.)

Topically, perhaps. Ingested? NO WAY EVER. Don't rely on Government funded research. And, in case you didnt know, Hitler used fluoride in the water supply to control concentration camp inmates.

Do the research!!1

Have fun with parasites, heavy metals, microbes, and a thousand other things that may be in your water. Do you at least filter the stuff?

It comes from hundreds of feet below the ground, I have tested it with a TDS meter, and it reads 30 PPM. That is VERY low. And I have NEVER met anyone getting sick from a deep natural spring.

Filtering it would take out the molecular structure of the water. I would never ever filter my spring water.

This isnt water found near the surface...this water is 45F and coming from DEEP within the Earth. Totally clean and safe.

Molecular structure? You must have a helluva filter if it is capable of altering H2O.

My qi gong master claims that his master in China is a woman who dwells on the top of a mountain in a cave and has drank only the spring water there for the past thirty years, no food at all. She is quite elderly and still very active.

And you believe that? Do you believe in flying Kung Fu Fighters also?

I am simply relaying what he said, I have no way of verifying it.

You can restructure any water by shaking it up and down a hundred times. Masaru Emoto has done some interesting experiments with photographing frozen water crystals as well, although I don't think anyone has tried to replicate them as yet.

I hope Tony is boiling his really wonderful harvested water. Try a stunt like that out here in fly-over country and your get a great case of tapeworms courtesy of your local Raccoon. Who uses the streams as a dinner table and a toilet. I stick with the fluoride and trace elements.

Have fun with that. In the meantime, learn more about REAL springs that come from VERY DEEP within the earth. Where not one raccoon dwells.

We have been trained to drink municipal water. Think about it. RE-WILD.

Articles like this make me suddenly, and deeply miss newspapers. Re-wild? Humans did not evolve to drink only from "REAL springs that come from VERY DEEP within the earth".

Real "re-wild" would be to throw your vegan diet out the window, eat game/fish three times a week, vegetarian the other days, maybe go hungry a few days, and drink from wherever you can find a water source. You'd get all kinds of hormones from eating the meat, and all kinds of other stuff from the water, but then, our bodies are used to that.

It is not natural to have such insane standards about what goes into your body. No "wild" humans ever had a diet like yours. Some ate almost all fish, others ate mainly plants - there was a lot of variety but no vegan humans, who drank only from springs.

I know of a tribe that keeps cows who they bleed (but don't kill), and they mix the blood with the cows milk to make a paste. It's all they eat, and it works out fine. In the documentary I saw there were very elderly people among them (70-80) who seemed in fine health. You know how much BGH is in their diet? An iiiiinnnnnsannnneee amount. Being afraid of hormones from bottles is just overdoing it.

I guess my point is have fun drinking from springs, and eating raw veggies, but don't confuse it for natural.

The fluoride that's added to US water supplies is silicofluoride. it's is captured waste from the phosphate fertilizer industry and is allowed to carry trace amounts of lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium and more.

Besides, water fluoridation has been show to be ineffective at reducing tooth decay, harmful to health and a waste of tax dollars.

Thank you for contribution...I really appreciate the SANITY. Instead of the same old fear and xenophobia when it comes to drinking something from the Mother Earth instead of the municipal supply or bottled water in plastic.

THANK YOU
