Anthony Giglio is a New York-based sommelier, journalist, and author who prefers writing and lecturing about all things gastronomic to serving them professionally. He is the author of Cocktails in New York (Rizzoli 2004), as well as an award-winning contributor to numerous publications, including Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, New York magazine, Esquire, Details, Boston magazine, Parade, Robb Report, and Trader Monthly. Giglio broadcasts the daily “Connoisseur Corner” wine report on CBS Radio’s Boston affiliate, and is the Nightlife editor at Wine & Spirits magazine. He is retained by a number of corporations to lead educational wine and spirits tastings and dinners, the likes of which include American Express Publishing, Condé Nast, Time Warner, and Bank of America. He also leads wine tours of Italy with Authentic Sicily. He is happily married and the father of two children, Sofia Rose and Marco Anthony.
