Real fast--better choice for president: Senator Barack Obama or Governor David Paterson?

Ok, let me tell you why are wrong. Barack Obama would be the first black president. David Paterson would be the first black and blind president. +1 Paterson.

Barack Obama is a wholesome American with his strong marriage and children. David Paterson is a real American in a marriage where he and his wife have cheated on each other and are not only cool with it, but had their make up sex at a Days Inn in Harlem. +2 Paterson.

Barack Obama is distancing himself from the hip-hop/''urban'' black community. David Paterson just pardoned Slick Rick. +4,000 Paterson.

Are you kidding me? You are incredible, sir. You have won my hearts and minds. But especially my hearts.

Many of you may remember that in the 1990s, Rick the Ruler was arrested on charges of attempted murder. He was later released, but he could never get things back on track because of constant threat of deportation and related arrest because, as you know from his legendary accent, he was born in England.

But that's all over now. I'm not sure exactly what kind of community service Governor Paterson is referencing as grounds for the pardon, but I like to imagine that it was just Rick going to day care centers and performing "Children's Story." Maybe doing a Q&A with Dave the Dope Fiend Shootin up Dope.

With each passing day, my confidence in Paterson grows and grows. No longer a mere Spitzer replacement, Paterson has me wondering what other injustices his theoretical candidacy would be capable of righting. Would he finally solve Tupac's murder? Or broker peace in some feuds like G-Unit and Murder, Inc or The Game and everyone?

OR maybe he would just order a cease and desist on Eminem making music.

Perhaps the last one appeals mostly to me, but, either way, I know one thing about Obama and Paterson: only one has made a firm commitment in the political area that I care about. (That area being the aging rapper-felons area.)
