The Disease That Is Socialized Fire Rescue

Republicans have taken to calling free universal health care SOCIALIZED health care. And I agree. It is socialized health care and we need to stop socialism from infecting our country. There are other SOCIALIZED institutions that we need to eradicate. We all know the worst example--The Fire Department. Those God damned sleazy pinko commie latte-drinking elitist fire fighters! What the hell are they thinking? They've been providing Free Socialized Fire Rescue for far too long!

Recently my neighbor, an old woman, caught fire. She's old and dry. It happens. Anyway, not two minutes after it started, these morally-bankrupt dirt bags show up in their TAX-FUNDED super-duper fire suits and put her out. Can you imagine? They didn't ask whether she had coverage, they didn't ask her to hand over her deductible. Who's gonna pay for this?! It was absolutely disgusting and anti-American!

Before they put out the flames, they should AT LEAST find out whether the flaming person is in this country legally. That's the reason I didn't put her out before they got there. I had asked Eunice for her papers, and she said they were on fire. I told her that wasn't good enough, and I went back to my important MySpace conversations. It makes me nauseous to think of the hundreds of ILLEGAL aliens who have had their flames put out on MY tax dollar. Nauseous, I tell you.

Don't even get me started on how the government socialized national security in full violation of the Third Amendment with that bureaucracy-choked welfare program known as "the Department of Defense." Did you know that entire families can live cradle-to-grave in taxpayer-purchased housing, eating taxpayer-provided food, wearing taxpayer-provided clothing, receiving taxpayer-provided healthcare, all for the average taxpayer cost of $1600 per person per year? And what do we get for this except complaint that it's still not enough and if we loved them we'd buy them more toys. Let's call it what it really is: the Hillarytary.

Lee, Lee, Lee--you're just being disingenuous. You know full well the real purpose of the fire department is to protect property--and, therefore, is not socialism. But health care benefits people--and, therefore, is socialism. And, therefore, is of the devil. Read the parable of the tallents. Jesus will love us more if our big pharma stock splits.

While we're lamenting the damnable rush to "socialism", let's not overlook one of the stalwarts of movement, the 911 service. That's right, you don't even have to dial a red-blooded American 10-digit phone number, just 3 digits (and 2 of them are the same digit) and it doesn't matter who you are, we the people will send our first responders to save you from whatever harrowing situation you claim to be in, even if you don't speak English and even if you don't have an On-Star subscription. No Charge. This is so bad that they even named the nation's worst disaster after it. Unless they know you're calling from a Cadillac, they should be checking your murder insurance before they waste any octane on you. And if you don't have a concealed weapon permit, how can you even ask someone to risk their life to save yours? The world's goin' to hell I tell ya.

With the increasing global temperature, I don't think we need to worry about the no-fire seasons anytime soon. It's big profit from here on out!

Personally, I liked the republican sneering, sticking finger down throat, eye rolling phrase, Big Government. I guess a lot of other people liked it too, because they would repeat it like a mantra. Nobody knew why it was bad to be Big, just like they have no idea whatsoever why its bad for to be SOCIALIST, which is to say, FREE instead of indebted to bone crushing usurious premiums. Now that our collective feet are sticking out of the woodchipper, we might want to rethink both. If we had Big Government, we would still have New Orleans as part of the United States. If we had SOCIALiZED medicine, we wouldn't be regarded as the dumbest people on earth by the rest of the world, which is doing just fine, thank you, with SOCIALIZED medicine.
