Nothing Is Funny Today |
What I've seen over this weekend convinces me, we are involved in a fixed game. To even imply its a close race is a joke. This isn't a close election--this is a fixed election. If Obama isn't the president, we will know for sure that we have lost all control of government by the people. The pictures are there, the two conventions were seen, the candidates were heard. No human or even my dog could deny that one person is a winner. And if we are denied that winner it will be time to take arms. For the first time, I understand and respect the second amendment. I used to read about revolutions in other countries and think we had settled these divides of power and money long ago, maybe not perfectly, or satisfactorily, but at least to the point where we were close and could achieve this dream that built America. We believed this really was a possibility. If the future I am seeing is real, this isn't even a possibility now, or a goal. It is time for even coward like me to get a gun. We were dreamers to think the last 8 years of open and often celebrated corruption and greed could be wiped away by electing a man like Obama. The most exciting, healing, hope bringing man of the people on the planet today is in a close election? I do not believe this. I do not believe a majority of the people in this country think four more years is going to be good for them, good for us. I don't believe we are all so different that what is true and obvious isn't true and obvious only to me. There is no vague..."we'll maybe I am too left" option. So the only conclusion I can come to is it doesn't matter. Sure we will be allowed an election to appease the people. But there is no way the outcome wasn't preordained. If you can't win with a royal flush the fix is in. Can I be arrested for saying these things? I'm afraid of them, they don't even have to kill a person, they have the IRS.
