Why I Won't Be Voting for John McCain in 2008 |
McCain is really going to sew up the women's vote and the shrinking people vote with the story of his bravery in the face of 'till death do us part unless you are disfigured in an accident. That's a deal breaker: He is free to leave his wife because she shrank 5 inches after an accident. I cant wait until this comes out and the black baby story that somehow turned McCain into Bush's butt boy. What could it have been? He dumped the baby because of a lazy eye or something--Big hero. In fact, and this is really radical, but I'm not so impressed with his "I was a war hero" story. Some people could interpret that as less being a hero and more of a guy who couldn't run fast enough. Doesn't it maybe just suggest he was to slow and got caught? How could he spend all that time in a prison camp where they stuck sticks under his nails and not come up with a plan for escape? In all that time, he never even tried to break a window or throw hot gruel in a guard's face? Is that heroic? Maybe once in all those years he tried to get away? Or maybe he felt a worse thing awaiting him?
The swarms of disfigured or just plain ugly women who will want him--war hero and all--but in the end, they'll get him. Like the ending of that great movie Freaks, the freaks all move in on him, particularly the chicken woman: "One of us...we will make you one of us." There is just something plain weird about this guy. It's not age; it's cruelty. He's beginning to look like the freaks prophesy: "One of us...one of us...we will make you one of us." He's kind of getting to look like "one of them," a classic tale. I can't wait for his presidential bid in order to watch the meltdown, until he's a sleazy pile of lump on the floor, and Joe Lieberman is scrubbing what's left of the hero off the floor. And, of course, Bush, with his bag full of medals, will give them both the medal of honor.
