O'Reilly calls MoveOn the "new Klan"

Bill O'Reilly courageously continues to attack racism wherever he sees it. Today, he throws some water on the burning cross that is Moveon.org:

There are a whole lot of reasons to crap on MoveOn, starting with the three to five outraged emails they send per day, but if you start calling them the Klan you're not helping things. Call them elitist or whiney or insufferable liberal scolds or something. We'd be totally with you then.

I am going to just say that until Move On is indicted for a criminal offence as many Klan members were in the old days, I feel that a spirited discussion between all sides in any election can keep this a FREE nation a little longer. Sincerely bigmikecraft

Sensationalism is the "new Klan"... Pundits are the "new Klan"... the U.S.A. is the "new Klan". Wow, anyone with a forum can play this game! With O'Reilly's roots in journalism (i.e. Current Affair), does he ever concern himself with supporting his claims.

Ok - so Move on is like the Klan only without the sheets, burning crosses, lynching and killing of innocent people based on race or color of their skin. So, how are they the new Klan? I'm confused - can someone please explain O'Reilly's logic or lack thereof?
