Pizzerias are preferred location of media for 'gotcha journalism'
Real journalism is not all about asking the tough questions, putting politicians on the spot, or cutting through the BS. No no no, that's called "Gotcha Journalism," and thank God we have the McCain Palin ticket to point it out for us.
Granpappy McCain understands how us kids do things these days, he understands that things like 'television broadcasting,' 'video camera contraptions,' and 'accountability' exist, he doesn't understand how, but he gets that they do, but this is just a plain case of some up-to-no-good reporters playin' a game of "Gotcha good" with poor Sarah Palin. In McCain's day, that kind of tomfoolery merited a good old walloping by the switch.

2. "You don't announce you are going to attack another country" -- John McCain...supporting Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor?
3. Don't show our cards to terrorists? Isn't the point that Obama made is to pressure Pakistan and to let the terrorists know that we are coming after them? How is that showing your cards? Should we remove Osama Bin Laden from the Most Wanted list so that we don't tell him we are after him?
4. Isn't McCain's stance moot since President Bush has basically begun doing what Obama suggested months ago? So why fight this one issue at the risk of one's credibility?
The harder they fight gaffes the worse it looks. At least when Biden has said something off target, like about the AIG bailout, Obama was just upfront and said, yah Joe should have waited. End of Story.
McCain could have simply said, that because the Bush Administration is NOW crossing into Pakistan, obviously Sarah Palin supports the present administration's efforts to apprehend and eliminate threats to our security.

And if anyone (it's not even limited to professional journalists now!) asks a Republican a question they don't like, they're playing the Gotcha game? WTF?!?
The McCain campaign comes up with new insults to our intelligence everyday.
